Once again SAP is pleased to offer the Advanced Manufacturing Summit in conjunction with the SAP World Tour event in Chicago. SAP customers have developed innovative business processes to streamline operations, increase asset performance, improve quality, manage energy, and gain real-time visibility into operational performance. For two days this October you can have the opportunity to see these innovations presented in detail and to discuss best practices and solutions with peers, industry leaders, and SAP experts.

In addition to customer sessions, this free two-day event will also provide hands-on workshops designed to help you run a more successful organization.

Get Solutions to Manufacturing Challenges

Join us in Chicago and learn how SAP's advanced manufacturing solutions enable companies to:

  • Run efficient operations to cut manufacturing costs, meet customer demands, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Deploy best practices in plant maintenance to improve asset productivity and availability
  • Integrate manufacturing into the rest of the enterprise, from shop-floor devices to the executive office
  • Provide real-time information on manufacturing performance
  • Radically simplify shop-floor systems while improving data accuracy and speed

Agenda Highlights:
Day One—Manufacturing Strategy and Best Practices
Our session will open with SAP’s Idea to Delivery and how we are supporting the next-generation value chain by helping companies integrate manufacturing processes with engineering and design activity.  This will be followed by a series of presentations in which SAP customers share their innovative strategies and tactics that improve overall efficiency, productivity, and profitability by leveraging SAP solutions for advanced manufacturing.  Day 1 will conclude with a networking dinner event.

Day Two—Deep Dive and Workshops
The second day will begin with featuring keynote speaker, Chad Moutray, from the National Association of Manufacturers, followed by three concurrent workshops and three tracks of customer-delivered presentations and expert sessions. Customer presentations will highlight successful adoption of best practices in efficiencies and plant-performance visibility, manufacturing-execution systems (MES), and managing operational risk.

We are confident that this free event will help you discover more about how your company can leverage SAP solutions to deploy best practices to accelerate your manufacturing competitiveness; to enable your production managers and personnel to deliver superior performance; and to lower TCO on your plant-floor IT infrastructure in as little as 90 to 150 days.
